THE KILLINGS
The Killings is a truth-telling film for YARN Australia, bringing to life a Thunghutti woman’s personal account of the violence and trauma of colonisation, as read by her grandson.
Through one family’s story, the film explores memory, loss and the importance of passing stories between generations. The film premiered online with NOWNESS and was screened at the Sydney Opera House as part of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
