Cloudy River follows pansexual artist Cloudy and musician River as they navigate love, jealousy, mental health and the increasingly messy reality of building a life together.
Originally created as a six-part series, it premiered to a sold-out audience at the Mardi Gras Film Festival before being acquired by SBS On Demand as a 48-minute feature. It went on to become the most-viewed film in SBS’s Rainbow Pride collection. It is now available on Amazon.
The series screened at festivals around the world, including HollyShorts and web festivals in Toronto, Rio, Seoul, Minnesota, Sicily, Sydney and Melbourne. It was nominated for Best Dramatic Series at Minnesota Web Fest and Best Actress in a Drama at Rio Web Fest.
